Sam O'Connor
Business Manager

Sam joined the insurance industry after an extensive background in managing call centres. Spending her fledgling years at Norwich Union she gained excellent knowledge and background to general insurance before moving to Bishopscourt Affinity Solutions. (BAS). At BAS she was Head of Business Development for their medical screening programme and their AllClear product. Sam was brought in to MediQuote to manage its entire operation. She has spent the first year of her career at MQ building a medical screening system - MQ Expert. This has been implemented successfully into many of MediQuote's clients and is wholly owned product of MediQuote. Along side this she also manages the Collinson groups products for people with pre-existing medical conditions and the over 65 age market, some of those brands include - Columbus Direct, Club Direct and Insure For All as well as Medici which is a new scheme for MediQuote. Sales have increased in those areas by almost 3000% by the use of the system and improved product offering.

Chrissie Timms
Medical Manager

Chrissie has an extensive medical background with almost 30 years in both the NHS and private sector. Early experience was gained in various NHS posts (specialising in intensive and coronary care then hospital management) Following an introduction into travel medicine in 1987 as a repatriation nurse, Chrissie has since amassed over 10 years experience in assessing the risks associated with travel for people with pre-existing medical conditions. Chrissie was instrumental in managing the UK's largest medical screening company with clients such as First Direct, Nat West Bank, Alliance and Leicester, Halifax, Sky TV, MBNA, Bradford and Bingley.

Georgette Woolgar
Operations Manager

George began her insurance career with MediQuote in 2001 having graduated with a Drama, Media and Popular Culture Degree and spent time traveling around Australia. She has continued her education and started her progression to a CII and has attended many management courses. George gained essential experience in the call centre before becoming involved in the management, where she has worked on changing the culture and implementing a new strategy into the team. George works to maintain an excellent relationship with underwriters, brokers, claims and emergency assistance companies and is the first point of contact in all these scenarios. George's primary role is to oversee the running of the call centre, ensuring that both the highest possible levels of quality and service are achieved in order to deliver a good customer experience within an FSA regulated environment.
